Oral sedation involves taking prescribed medication before your appointment to help you feel calm and relaxed. You’ll remain conscious and able to communicate with our dental team throughout your treatment, but you may feel drowsy and more at ease in the dental chair.
Before recommending sedation, our dentists will review your medical history, medications, and overall health to determine whether oral sedation is appropriate for you. We’ll also explain how to prepare for your appointment, what to expect during treatment, and any instructions you’ll need to follow afterward.
